Therapeutic Approaches
How I work
I am trained in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies. Rather than using a single approach for everyone, I tailor therapy to your individual needs – drawing on different models depending on what will be most helpful for you.
An integrative approach
As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained to integrate different therapeutic approaches rather than working within a single model.
This means therapy is tailored specifically to you – your experiences, your goals, and what you need at different points in the process.
For example, therapy might involve:
- Developing understanding and self-compassion
- Processing difficult past experiences
- Learning practical strategies for the present
- Making changes that feel meaningful and sustainable
This flexible, integrative approach allows us to work in a way that is both structured and responsive – supporting you to make sense of your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Below is an overview of the approaches I use.
